In the excitement to see Poppy flying on her way to so many lovely knitter I have missed out Poppy’s tummy details from the first downloads of the pattern. I now officially forgive all those knitting magazines that publish huge corrections in their next issues !!
Poppy’s tummy – to make this a really easy knit all you need to do is cast on 50 stitches and knit a rectangle of stocking stitch in your white yarn measuring 20cm long. The sew this rectangle in place on Poppy’s tummy shaping and tucking in the edges slightly as you go to make her cute penguin tum !
